The watch is operated with three pushers, and something crown. The red pusher, at 2 o'clock, starts and stops the different timing functions. The polished pusher at 4 o'clock, is perfect for resetting the timers. The crown is used to create the time. And the big pusher, at 9 o'clock, switches between the different rally timer modes Time, Race, Replay, T.time, Ctdown, and Chrono. The ability to switch between different race timing modes, mechanically, is definitely rare. At Baselworld 2010, I'd an opportunity to view the brand new Zenith El Primero Striking 10th timepiece, in gold. In recent years Zenith has gotten from their core, that is more traditional timepieces. Under the direction of the new CEO, Jean- Dufour, they are returning to basics. Which, of course, includes their famous EL Primero movement.
